This year’s gathering was a major success for the Tahltan Nation. Leadership from the Tahltan Central Government, Tahltan Band, and Iskut Band stood together in complete unity and presented a strong, coordinated vision for the future of Tahltan Territory.

Together, Tahltan leadership shared clear messages with the Province: the need to finalize and implement the Tahltan–BC Foundation Agreement, to embed consent-based and shared decision-making across all resource, land, and environmental governance systems, and to invest in housing, health, and essential services in our communities.

Over a dozen meetings with ministers, staff and aides, Tahltan leadership advocated for energy and infrastructure reconciliation, modernized environmental assessments, and economic diversification through tourism, all to be guided by Tahltan stewardship and values.

Our presence at this year’s Gathering reflected the strength, unity, and determination of our Tahltan Nation. We are leading the way on putting reconciliation into practice and shaping a better future for generations to come.
