The Tahltan Central Government Education & Training Department, with the generous sponsorship of Coeur Silvertip Mine, invites you to take part in the Fourth Annual Tahltan Exploration and Industry Training! This hands-on, immersive experience provides practical training in core cutting, core measuring, drilling, pad building, environmental studies, and water sampling. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, build meaningful relationships, and develop valuable skills to jumpstart a career in mining and exploration.

What is truly unique about this program is its deep integration of Tahltan knowledge and culture. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with Tahltan Elders, connect with Directors of the Tahltan Central Government, and gain valuable traditional knowledge. This experience goes beyond training—it’s a chance to explore and immerse yourself in the land of your ancestors and strengthen your connection to both your heritage and the lands of your people.

All participants will have their flights, meals, accommodations, and transportation to and from the territory fully covered. Additionally, a training allowance will be provided for each day of participation in the program.
