Its been cold nights and sunny days at Tahltan lake this past week. Finally feeling like good spring weather. Sunshine while cleaning the weir, a new mother grizzly bear and three cubs, it all feels right. Rewards for being patient.

We have a few events coming up:

• June 11th, 11 am at Tahltan there will be a Salmon Welcoming Ceremony
• June 26-28 we will be at the Dease Lake Fishing Derby taking volunteered muscle samples from fish caught in order to determine metal and toxin levels.
