Tāłtān is Tahltan spelled in the Tahltan language.

This logo, the shapes, and other elements of the Tāłtān brand represent the Tahltan Nation at large.

In some instances where the full nation logo won’t work, using the Tāłtān wordmark alone is acceptable.

The shapes come from our ancestor’s artistry. Contemporary Tahltan artists Tsēmā Igharas and Carmen Dennis revitalize our traditional designs by tracing shapes from Tahltan artifacts, including physical objects at museums (tunics, gloves, moccasins, octopus bags) and cultural items pictured in archival photographs.

The digital shapes are stylized using a dotted line to reflect their origins in Tahltan beadwork.

The colors reference the traditional artwork and textiles.
