Wildlife Department is looking for a Tahltan biology student for a Master’s project
The Wildlife Department is looking for a Tahltan student in Biology interested in taking on a Masters research project. The purpose of the project is to obtain knowledge on grizzly bear seasonal movement, feeding ecology, habitat use, and home ranges in northern boreal interior (non-salmon) ecosystems in Tahltan Territory. Ideally, the student would begin their studies in September 2026 and participate in fieldwork during both the summers of 2026 and 2027. We may be able to accommodate a later start date if needed.
If you’re interested in the project or would like to learn more, please reach out to our Wildlife Director, Westin Creyke at wildlifedirector@tahltan.org
